Collection and Shipping Guidelines

COLLECTION TIMELINES:

Goods can be collected at any time after payment has been made.

We ask that collections and/or arrangements for collections be made within two days post Auction.

ALL collection notifications, shipping requests and requests for carrier recommendations are to be emailed to our Post Sale Services email address: pss@theodorebruce.com.au

SERVICES:

Theodore Bruce offers a modest general wrapping and packing service suitable for smaller, lower value and robust items.

Should you request that Theodore Bruce wrap and / or pack your goods and arrange postage of your items for you, a fee will apply and whilst all care is taken, we accept no responsibility for any damage.

Requests for postage / shipping quotes will be actioned and supplied after payment of your purchases from an auction.

Wrapping / packing and postage costs will be added to your invoice and payment is required prior to packing and shipping.

Sourcing quotes for postage / shipping requests will commence 4-5 business days post auction and will be turned around as quickly as possible.

If you choose to arrange your own collections via courier or carrier and require items to be wrapped, we request sufficient notice and a wrapping/packing fee will apply and will be added to your invoice for payment before arrangements are to be made and your goods are collected. Please ensure you receive confirmation of your package being ready prior to arranging pick up.

For items that fall outside of our guidelines and level of expertise that requires more specialised packing and shipping services, we outsource to Pack & Send Pyrmont. They will liaise with you directly and manage the collection of items from Theodore Bruce and all wrapping, packing and shipping requirements, unless we’re otherwise directed.

Any high value artworks purchased and artworks exceeding 60cmx60cm needing to be shipped, Theodore Bruce will make recommendations for either Pack & Send to manage or an Artwork Courier to collect and deliver.

LOCAL/INTERSTATE/INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES:

For all Local, Interstate and International delivery requirements, Theodore Bruce can make recommendations for at least two suitable carriers for your transport and delivery requirements.

All communications and dealings will be between yourself and the supplier of the packing and shipping service.

STORAGE FEES:

Any items not collected within 5 working days from the date of an auction or non-receipt of a notification of an arrangement for collection within 5 days of an auction, the said items will attract a storage fee of AUD$5.00 per lot per day, which if incurred, must be settled before said lots leave the premises.
