Description:

A Collection of Thirty Day of the Dead Figures, Collected in Mexico in 1986, Made from Clay and Wood,
the Day of the Dead skeleton figures are created and painted by hand by the folk artists of Mexico. Many of the painted clay skeletons (esqueletos) are fashioned to depict the activities the deceased enjoyed while alive.

This little collection I bought one by one in Mexico 38 years ago, they have been on my bedroom shelf with other small-scale sculptures for all that time. They are always cheerful to look at as they have satire & comedy of the living & their follies.
