Henry CABLE & William PATERSON Land Grant 1795,
land granted to Henry Cable, fifteen and a half acres of land, situated to the south of his former allotment of thirty acres in the district of Petersham Hill, dated 14th March 1795, signed by William Paterson Senior Officer in his Majesty's Territory of New South Wales, witnessed by David Collins Secretary to the Colony, John Harris, Charles Grimes & William Sutton, ink manuscript on J Whatman watermarked paper with paper seal, discoloured, fold creases & repairs with tape. William Paterson served as Lieutenant Governor of New South Wales from December 1794 to September 1795, Henry Cable (Kable) was convicted of burglary at Thetford, Norfolk, England, in 1783, he sailed with the First Fleet to New South Wales aboard the transport Friendship, he died in 1846, by then a well-established businessman & farmer (Land Grant No.393 in Ryan's 'Land Grants 1788 - 1809'). Included is typed signed note from 'Bill' (William Brennan) from when Monty acquired the land grant in 1966.
