Collection of papers from the legal careers of brothers William Ironside Perry (1870-1928) & John Alfred Ironside Perry (1864-1941), includes Illuminated address (John Sands) to W.I Perry when he left Windsor in 1903 having been Clerk of Petty Sessions for five years, a 1926 document signed by the Governor Admiral Sir Dudley Rawson Stratford de Chair appointing W.I.Perry Stipendiary Magistrate of Newcastle, J.A.I.Perry had a long career as a solicitor in Sydney, both brothers where Freemasons, papers include invitations, ephemera, magazines, photographs, scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, a large group of legal documents, many on vellum; J.A.I.Perry's son Alan Wentworth Perry served in WW1 (14th Battery Field Artillery), included is his Wounded Discharge Certificate & Certificate of Discharge, also a solicitor he went on to join the legal firm his father had founded, all papers housed in metal documents box
