The Viking Age + The Saga Library, 6 Volumes

Books from the Collection of The Late Professor Eric Sharpe

Born in Manchester, Emeritus Professor Eric Sharpe (1933-2000) was an international authority on the understanding of world religions. Sharpe studied and worked in Sweden and the U.K, before joining the University of Sydney as Professor of Religious Studies in 1977, where he stayed until his retirement. His interest in early religion & mythology led him to collect works by Andrew Lang, Sir Walter Scott & Rudyard Kipling, including first and limited editions. Also featured in the collection are early bibles, religious texts etc.

A separate auction of The Collection of Birgitta Sharpe & The Late Professor Eric Sharpe features Swedish furniture and design objects, homewares & collectables.
