From Memphis with Love
Elvis Presley inspired fandom beyond anything America had previously seen, and this exceptional interest spawned an industry of collectables including comic books, trinkets and trading cards.
A thriving souvenir industry remains in Memphis over 40 years since Elvis’ death, centred on Graceland, the star’s former home. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2006, Graceland welcomes over 500,000 visitors each year to view the bejewelled jumpsuits, gold records and glittery decor.
On offer in the auction is a selection of Graceland memorabilia, plus original Elvis Presley merchandise ranging from Commemorative Pepsi Bottles to Miniature Silver Plate Cutlery and Coins.

A Life & Death in Media
The extraordinary media frenzy that surrounded the life and death of Elvis Presley – and his marriage to Priscilla – manifested in widespread coverage from leading media outlets, gossip magazines and book publishers.
Among the selection on offer in the auction are original newspapers marking the death of Elvis in August 1977, and a large collection of books, music journals and magazines.
Some corners of the publishing industry concocted the weird and wonderful. Among the items on offer are a copy of Official UFO 1978 reporting on the escape and $100,000 reward for the return of Elvis’ clone, and Elvis Presley Speaks, a 1979 book by Hans Holzer documenting “spiritual contact with Elvis beyond the grave”.

Musically Inclined
Elvis Presley had a prolific recording career, and his eclectic discography spans pop, gospel, Rock ‘N’ Roll, country, Christmas and even spoken word.
On the back of last year’s Baz Lurhmann film, Elvis was topping charts again in 2022, while Elvis musicals continue to encourage music sales globally.
The auction features a large collection of vinyl LP’s including singles, soundtracks and live recordings.
