After the successes of 2013 and 2014 when Theodore Bruce sold a wonderful array of cars for record prices including the 1972 Project 500 Jet Car; 1913 Nazzaro Tipo 2; 1913 Alphonso Xlll Hispano-Suiza T15; 1947 Holden Prototype number 4; 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400; 1937 BMW 327 Cabriolet; 1936 Cord 810 Sportsman’s Convertible Coupé; 1956 Porsche Speedster; 1956 BMW 503 Cabriolet, and the 1954 Bentley R-Type Continental for Aus$1.15 million, to a truly international audience including buyers from the USA, UK, Germany, France and Russia as well as, of course, within Australia, the Motorclassica Auction is now firmly established as the pre-eminent classic vehicle auction in the Southern Hemisphere.

Paul Mathers, Event Director of Motorclassica, the Australian International Concours d’Elegance & Classic Motor Show said, “Having worked with the Theodore Bruce auction team for the last two years it has undoubtedly proved itself to be the perfect fit for our event. The quality of the cars that is being offered by Theodore Bruce for auction is of the highest calibre and worthy of any auction house in the world. We look forward to working with Theodore Bruce in the years to come as we continue to establish Motorclassica as one of the must attend events of its kind anywhere.”

James Badgery, Auctioneer for, and Director of Theodore Bruce added, “We are incredibly excited that Motorclassica has shown such faith in our work by committing to our company for the next three years. We are confident that this long term relationship will enable us to provide an even better service for both our vendors and bidders in the coming editions of what is a highlight of the motoring year. I am sure that we are going to be offering some absolutely marvelous cars on the auction block come Saturday 24th October.”

Early consignments for the 2015 Auction include the historically important MM Holden Special, built by Molina and Massola, which in its illustrious career ran at the 1953 Australian Grand Prix (pictured) and the 1954 New Zealand GP.
