THE PAULINE NAHER JEWELLERY COLLECTION
Theodore Bruce is excited to auction the jewellery collection of Pauline Naher on Saturday 24th June at 3pm. Pauline Naher’s love of fashion was fostered at the exclusive Kings Cross hotel, the Belvedere, that the Naher family owned and operated for many years. Through its doors walked the glamorous, famous and infamous, but almost without exception they were beautifully dressed. From the wonderful play of colour in an emerald ring to the bright red of carved coral necklaces, this love of fashion and beautiful things is evident in her jewellery collection.
Pauline’s jewellery collection ranges from gold and silver pieces to pearls, beads and wonderfully bright costume jewellery. Her love of putting things together is also evident with many pieces having matching necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings. Highlights include Lot 5001 a yellow gold gilson emerald and diamond ring, Lot 5015 a stunning sterling silver turquoise, onyx and carnelain pendant with a pearl, carnelian and turquoise necklace, Lot 5021 a sterling silver moss agate ring and Lot 5112 a collection of animal brooches including an articulated panther brooch.
Pauline’ love of fashion can also be seen in our Emporium Auction where we are delighted to auction sixteen of her jackets including Lot 819 An Ella Miro black and golden zebra pattern jacket, Lot 845 a woollen coat with leopard print mink cuffs and collar and Lot 854 a silk and velvet mauve evening jacket.
