The former Head of Christie’s Australia, Sue Hewitt (1941-2024) was a key figure in the Australian art world for decades. She was a former personal assistant to Lady Casey, wife of then Governor-General Lord Richard Gardiner Casey, Deputy Chair of Christie’s Australia, Managing Director of Christie’s Australia and a highly respected art consultant and valuer for public, corporate and private art collections.
