Description:

A Finely Carved & Pierced Rosewood Towel Rack, Jinjia, Qing Dynasty, Qing Dynasty, 19th C.,
the two slender rounded corner posts are joined to the top rail, that terminates in two outward facing dragon heads. Two of the four rounded horizontal rails enclose a panel of chilong. On a stepped broad foot with archaistic scrollwork & joined by a spandrels in the form of stylized dragons.
