A Pig Tail Ceremonial Apron in Custom Perspex Mount, Papua New Guinea Highlands,
this large and rectangular ceremonial apron with long pig-tail ending tassles and fine ochre painted decoration is the finest of examples. Men wear them tucked into their bark girdles for important ceremonies. The pig tails show the wealth of the wearer as pigs are the most important type of wealth in the New Guinea Highlands.
