A Rare Chinese Green Translucent Glass Bear, with Muscular Legs & Clawed Feet, Probably Han Dynasty BC206-220AD
the head lowered revealing a ruyi shape on the crown, a long muzzle, wide eyes & round ears, in a standing position with two paws resting on his ample tummy, a hole on the reverse of a collar, possibly used as a talisman
Condition: Good with patches of lustre

Note: The Bear has been linked to military prowess & immortality associated with myths. The green is achieved in the same way as a green glaze: different oxides, cobalt blue copper & light blue chrome green, etc.
