A Rare Pair of Large Sino-Tibetan Gilt Bronze Alloy Buddha, Seated on a Low Lotus Petal Platform, Xuande Mark on Reverse, 19th C.,
the serene young full face framed by elongated earlobes, eyes downcast with the urna visible between the arched brows, the hair arranged in rows of tight whorls surmounted by a domed ushnisha. The monastic cape with Buddha images, covering both shoulders & falling in neat folds, seated with the soles of the feet exposed.
Condition:
Very Good, verdigris patina in some parts
