A Striking Maori Ornamented Paddle, New Zealand,
gift to the Fiji Rugby Union in 1938 from the first Maori rugby team to visit Fiji. Owned by Ratu Isileli Tawaki, High Chief of Bau. Purchased in Suva at the end of the 1950's.

    The Jutta Malnic Collection. Jutta was a well respected photo-journalist and author whose work in anthropology was widely recognised throughout the Pacific. She made many trips to the Pacific, particularly the Trobriand Islands, researching her book "Kula" and collecting artefacts.
