& C-scrolls representing the wings, crisply cast, with a pointed beak & bead like eyes, the plump body forming the vessel, raised on two stout legs at the front, & balanced with a curved tail, with mottled blue-green patina
Note: The Owl has been known & used as a motif in China since the Neolithic period
