An Ersari Ensi, Western Turkestan, circa 1880
the term "ensi" refers to the knotted rug which hung at the entrance to the Turkoman yurt or oi. It is one of the most important artefacts in the tent.

Collection of items is Onsite at Pyrmont on Wednesday 5 June 9.30am-2pm.
