Deep Face Mashie, Cleek Maker George Nicoll, Leven, Fife, Scotland, Cleek Mark "Earliest hand", c 1912
Shafted, gripped and sold by James Braid, Pro at Walton Heath GC, Surry, England. Braid was 5 times Open Champion and a member of the Great Truimuirate. Also a Course Designer and is credited as the inventor of the "dog leg". In 1926 he remodelled the "Carnoustie Golf Links" for The Open. Shaft Hickory. Grip leather probably original. Face hyphen with side design.
