Edward McGregor WILSON (18403), 7 FAB [Field Artillery Brigade]
Collection of leave passes and ephemera concerning Wilson whilst serving with the Australian Imperial Force. Wilson enlisted August 1915, in 1918 he transferred to 3rd Division Signalling Company as a result of a knee injury, he returned home aboard the Zealandia in May 1919 (Wilson is in the group photograph aboard Zealandia in previous lot). Includes handwritten leave passes dated 1917 + two typed leave passes stamped 'Australian Imperial Forces 7th F.A.Brigade Headquarters' + hotel receipts (1918) + two documents concerning Wilson applying for land under the Returned Soldiers' Settlement Act, dated, 1920 + blank Form 1 'Application for Qualification Certificate to Apply for Crown Land' + Certificate of Discharge from Volunteer Defence Corps dated 28 April 1942
