  • Provenance: The Colin McGonigal Collection. Colin McGonigal was a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Australia and past Secretary of the Malacological Society of NSW (1960-1975. His business, Bricol Gems & Minerals (1971-1995) was a wholesale importer and exporter of minerals and gemstones as well as shells and snails, and also operated a retail shop, The Gem Gallery, in Chippendale, Sydney (1974-1978).
