Ike Davis Archive Tour of Kokoda (1942-1945) An archive of personal photographs of Sgt Davis's Regiment together with private diary and photo albums documenting journey from Australia to Kokoda. Also includes serving papers, personal letters, and other related items.

The diary includes details of active service including combat. First entry dated 1 Sept 1943 to 13 August 1944.

Sergeant Albert Robert Roy "Ike" Davis N106328 & NX165149 served two terms with the Australian Army, including his time in Kokoda. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, 1939-45 War Medal and the Australian Service Medal 1939-45. All medals included in this lot.
