Description:

Two Fine Old Amulet Ancestor Figures, Coastal Sepik Area, East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea,
both are beautiful small-scale sculptures, the one on the left with elaborate headdress with incised designs and warm reddish-brown patina. The one on the right is a classical Birdman Amulet and was deaccessioned from the Denver Fine Art Museum with their catalogue No & another collection number on the back. Mid-20th Century.
