Provenance:
The New Guinea Collection of Eric Rowlison former director of the National Gallery of Victoria 1975–1980 ( his original label attached R4.1972) Rowlison was one of the early collectors & supports of Oceanic & Aboriginal Art in the 1970s. Together with an extremely finely made double band of small animal teeth necklace from the Papuan Gulf.
